The Children's Department of the Lake Bluff Public Library provides current, responsive, high interest materials and programs all throughout the year for children through 8th grade.

Children's Department materials include a variety of well chosen fiction and non-fiction in paperback, hardcover, software, audio and video formats. We also have a variety of magazines for preschoolers through 8th grade for girls and boys.

Children's Department programs include the annual Summer Reading Club as well as the Winter Reading Club and Pre-school Storytime and other special programs throughout the year.

Reader's advisory for all ages, pre-school through 8th grade is top priority of the Children's Department of the Lake Bluff Public Library.

Visits for classroom groups are available through advance arrangements.
