Lake Bluff Public Library Seed Library

Feeling cooped up and looking for something to do outside your house? We're here to help you get out and get growing! You can now place an online order for seeds from our Seed Library. Use the form on this page to request seeds to be mailed to you, or visit the Library in person to choose your own seeds in person.

Join us on this gardening adventure, and be sure to share your progress with us on social media.

Restrictions:

Orders may take up to one week to process.
We can only fill seed requests from patrons located in the state of Illinois.
Limit one order per person for all mail orders. You may place more than one order if you are picking up your order in person at the Library.
Multiple people in your household may order seeds.

With the exception of Rose Milkweed and Meadow Blazing Star, the list of native plants was provided by the Sustainability Committee of the Village of Lake Bluff.
