New Business
IGA: communications and zoom meeting reviewed discrepancies between the Village-provided draft and preceding discussions and agreement. Expectation is to receive an updated draft week of 9/9 or later, which would not be in time for September board meeting.
Budget Discussions
HR recommendations, Interim director and compensation, library director staffing firm were discussed.
FY 25-26 Budget
Timeline and important dates for Finance and Technology committee considerations provided by Director Grassi.
Discussion of Levy and plan forward.
Director Grassi encouraged prioritization of Building, Technology, Staff, e-books.
Truth in Taxation procedures were discussed; requisite if Levy request exceeds 5%.
Director Grassi will provide 3 scenarios: 5%, and two pro forma scenarios
Library Foundation
Will provide matching funds for accessibility grant improvements.
Friends of the Library: donated $5k to matching funds for accessibility grant and donated $5k for strategic planning
