This is my Library. The Lake Bluff Public Library.

This is the first floor. Here I can find the Circulation Desk, public computers and printers, and adult materials available for check out.

At the Circulation Desk, I can ask for directions, get a Library card, check out items or ask any other questions.

When it is time to return items I have checked out from the Library, I can return them to someone at the Circulation Desk or put my items in the black bin next to the desk.

When I am finished at the Library I will make sure to check out any items that I want to borrow, and I know that I will return to the library again soon!

On the second floor of the Library I can find teen books, adult nonfiction books, and tables and chairs for quiet work. I can take the stairs or the elevator to get to the second floor. The elevator is located directly across the hall from the library entrance.

The Youth Services Department is located in the lower level. I can take the stairs or the elevator to get there. If I am under the age of 8 years old, I make sure to stay with my adult while in the Youth Services Department.

This is the main room of the Youth Services Department. Here I will find the youth librarians at the desk, public computers, a table for coloring and crafts, youth nonfiction books, middle grade fiction books and audiobooks.

I can also return my items outside at the walk-up return bin, or if I am driving I can use the drive-up return bin. When I am finished at the library I will make sure to check

This is the preschool room. It is located in the Youth Services Department.
I can find lots of different books in this room like picture books and board books. I can also play with toys and puzzles.

Sometimes the Library can be loud and unpredictable. There are sensory kits at the Youth Services Desk that contain noise-cancelling headphones and different fidgets that I can use if I need them.

If I am attending a program at the Library I will go to either the Spruth Room or the Youth Activity Room.
If I have questions about where a program is happening, I can ask one of the staff members at the Youth Services Department Desk or the first floor Circulation Desk.
