Service Update: Masks
In light of the new guidelines from the Center for Disease Control and the end of the state mask mandate, the Lake Bluff Library has made some adjustments to its practices regarding masks:
- Effective Monday, February 28, masks will be recommended, but not required in the Library building. However, the Library serves a variety of patrons, including individuals who may be at increased risk for COVID-19. We are asking all individuals to continue to be considerate of others and practice social distancing to help keep the Library safe and accessible for all.
- We are continuing to evaluate and monitor the situation as it develops—practices may be adjusted as new information becomes available.
As always, we appreciate your patience, cooperation, and consideration as we work to keep the Library a safe place for all. Questions or comments about the Library’s COVID response may be directed to our Library Director, Eric Bailey.
