Children's Department

The Children's Department of Lake Bluff Public Library provides current, responsive, high-interest materials and programs throughout the year for children through Grade 8.

The Children's Department offers a variety of well chosen fiction, non-fiction in paperback, hardcover, periodical, audio and DVD formats for all ages.

The Children's Department programs include the annual Summer Reading Club, Winter Reading Club, Preschool Story Time, Baby Story Time and other special programs throughout the year.

Reader's Advisory for all ages is a top priority of the Children's Department of the Lake Bluff Library. We are happy to offer suggestions for reading and viewing materials, as well as "read-alike" choices, for every child.
