Partner with Us
Community is at the heart of the Lake Bluff Public Library’s mission, and we’re always looking for new ways to collaborate with local businesses and organizations. Some of our current partnerships include:
Davey Tree Expert Company (2022 sponsorship): Their generosity funded our Learning Garden installation, Seed Library continuation, and the Grow-Your-Own-Pizza-Kit prize for the 2022 Children’s Summer Reading Club.
Elawa Farm Foundation & Lake Bluff Open Lands Association: Together we offer free gardening workshops and other hands-on educational programs.
Lake Bluff Brewing Company (since 2015): Although our co-hosted Trivia Night is on hiatus until its return in 2026, they still brew Totally Booked—donating $1 from every pint sold to Library programs.
Lake Bluff Park District: Through our partnership with the Park District, we join in the annual Trunk or Treat event, host an Outdoor Movie Night each October (complete with hot cocoa), and maintain a Little Free Library outside the Recreation Center that we restock monthly with discarded Library books.
Lake Bluff Strong (2020): We partnered with this coalition of local groups and residents to share COVID-19 updates, resources, and virtual events during the pandemic response.
Lake Forest Library (Read Between the Ravines, since 2019): Through our partnership with Lake Forest Library, we co-host Read Between the Ravines—a two-community, one-nonfiction reading program with author visits—alongside Gorton Community Center, History Center of Lake Forest–Lake Bluff, Dickinson Hall, Lake Forest College, and Lake Forest Book Store.
School District 65 (Summer StoryWalk, since 2021): We co-host the Summer StoryWalk each summer with District 65 and the Lake Bluff Park District—installing a children’s story along a local park trail for families to enjoy. This popular event is slated to return in summer 2026.
Village of Lake Bluff: Hosts our Storytime on the Green at the Lake Bluff Farmers Market every Friday, June–August—check the Library’s event calendar for select dates.
We’d also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Dickinson Hall, Donati’s Pizza, Gorton Community Center, Heinen’s, Lake Bluff History Museum, Lake Forest–Lake Bluff Chamber of Commerce, and School District 115—and many other local businesses and organizations—for their ongoing support and collaboration. If your business or organization is interested in partnering with us, please reach out to our Community Engagement and Communications Manager.
