Improvements to email notifications coming June 6

Starting June 6, the Lake Bluff Public Library will be rolling out changes to our email notifications. A major update to our software now allows us a greater degree of customization and flexibility with our email notices. These improved communications will be more visually appealing, have better mobile/tablet compatibility, and will provide you with more useful information about items checked out to your account. Additionally, automated bounce handling will allow us to more effectively troubleshoot problems with email message delivery.

At this time, hold notifications, courtesy reminders/autorenewal notices, overdue notices, and billing notices will be receiving this update. Later software releases will address other notices, such as Interlibrary Loan arrivals, hold cancellations, and others. Notices will continue to be sent on the existing schedule.
