Seed Library

Seed Library sponsored by Davey Tree Expert Company

Get ready to grow wild — the Lake Bluff Public Library Seed Library is back and freshly stocked with a vibrant mix of seeds, thanks to a generous donation from the Davey Tree Expert Company.

Whether you're a seasoned gardener or planting for the first time, the Seed Library is a fun and easy way to explore new flowers, herbs, and vegetables—no green thumb required.

The Seed Library will return for the 2026 growing season! We’re excited to bring back this popular resource, which features a rotating selection of easy-to-grow vegetables and Lake Bluff native perennials. Seeds are available while supplies last.
