Due to our current staffing limits, notary services will only be available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays while the Library is open to the public; we recommend calling ahead to make sure that a notary is available. Please be aware that the notary will ask you to briefly pull down your face mask so that they can verify your identity before signing. Once verification is complete, you will need to put your mask back on for the remainder of your visit. Notarizations will take place behind protective plexiglass for your safety.
The Library offers proctoring services by appointment during regular business hours. Proctoring services are offered at no charge as long as the proctoring requirements can be reasonably met by the Library. Exam takers are responsible for providing mailing supplies and appropriate postage and any other costs associated with returning their exam to the proper institution. Exam takers do not need a library card to use this service.
Proctoring services are handled on a case-by-case basis by Library staff. Proctoring appointments must be scheduled at least one week before the exam date. The Library is unable to accommodate requests made with less than one week's notice. To request an appointment, please contact the Library at 847-234-2540.
