The Library has upgraded the way you explore events. Beginning Monday, March 2, 2026, our new events calendar features a cleaner layout, improved search and filtering options, and a more mobile-friendly design—making it easier than ever to find programs by age group, interest, or date. Whether you’re browsing what’s happening this week or planning ahead for the season, discovering your next Library program is now simpler than ever.
We have five great programs planned to celebrate the spooooookiest day of the year!
Trunk or Treat

Looking for a safe place to take your child trick or treating? Join the Library at the Lake Bluff Park District for their annual Trunk or Treat event. Show your Lake Bluff Library support and stop by our trunk! We hope to see you there!
Event is located at the Lake Bluff Park District at 355 W. Washington Ave in Lake Bluff.
It's official: the 2020 Summer Reading Club for adults, teens, and children has officially begun!
This year, our theme is Reading is Your Passport to Adventure, which is appropriate because the Summer Reading Club is doing a little traveling and moving to a brand new online format. We'll be using Beanstack, an online tool that allows you to track your reading progress. You can use Beanstack online or download the app through the App Store for your mobile or tablet device.
For these last couple of weeks, our staff has been hard at work developing plans of action to bring key Library services online. At this point, we anticipate that all Library programming will be held virtually through at least the month of August. This includes the Summer Reading Clubs for adults, teens, and children.
